We are looking for a bright CPA or degreed accountant capable of following our system without a lot of direct supervision.

What you will do:

• Prepare business and individual tax returns

• Research tax law

• Research and respond to tax notices

• Heavy duty accounting and bookkeeping

• Compile and review financial statements

• Responsibilities will continue to grow as the need arises

Work environment:

• Multiple clients

• Clients in 40 states

• Fast paced environment

• Team environment

• Very little overtime required

• Ability to communicate clearly and precisely both orally and in writing

• Ability to define and solve problems

• Ability to manage multiple projects

• Enthusiasm for working in a team atmosphere

• Casual professional attire

• Appearance, behavior, and language acceptable to our clients, the general business community

Experience we look for:

• Mastery of Microsoft Office

• Fundamental understanding of accounting and tax

• Thompson Tax & Accounting experience a plus

• Lacerte Tax System experience a plus

• Quickbooks and/or Quicken experience a plus
